REVEALED: AC Milan Sponsorship Revenue From BitMEX Comes To Light

The amount puts us at a decent level given the opportunity for bonuses to be achieved.

Gazzetta dello Sport via Milan Reports are reporting that AC Milan’s new sleeve sponsor for the 2021/22 season are providing a decent sum of money for the advertising space. Milan joined up with BitMEX - a cryptocurrency trading platform - as partners in August 2021 as the first ever sleeve sponsor for the Rossoneri following a change of terms with the agreement with principal sponsor Emirates Airlines. Milan will reportedly receive 5 million euros per year from BitMEX to boost the coffers of the management. The partnership of BitMEX unlike that of Emirates and Banco BPM is club-wide covering both the men’s and women’s teams.

As we previously reported here, the deal with Emirates was lowered to a fixed amount of 10 million euros per year but large bonuses available depending on results. The caveat to the drop was the opportunity to add more sponsors on the shirt such as on the sleeves and the back.
