Peppe di Stefano via MilanNews.it is reporting that AC Milan are getting nervous over the renewal situation of Franck Kessie as the player could be sold this winter if there is no resolution. Milan would be at risk to lose another high value asset for free this summer following the losses of Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu this past summer.
MilanNews.it are reporting that Milan and Kessie are at a stalemate over the renewal of the player as the club feel that have submitted their best bid. The midfielder and his agent reportedly are still requesting more thus the club may begin to look for alternatives planning for the departure of the Ivorian.
Former Milan midfielder Stefano Eranio gave a good breakdown of the situation via MilanNews.it:
“In my opinion the real problem with Kessie is that he has been pulling the cart for some time, he played all the games without skipping a minute and he did it at great levels. He was then also at the Olympics and human beings, when you play too much, go into a physiological decline. In addition, unfortunate that there is also the contractual issue and he tries to make his voice heard, given his performance.”
