The youngster is a top prospect for the future and seems to be learning a lot from the starters.

AC Milan Youth Sector

AC Milan on their youth sector Twitter page have officially announced the renewal of the young Danish goalkeeper Andreas Jungdal until the end of the 2024 season. The youngster may have a role to play this season following the injuries of Mike Maignan and Alessandro Plizari, he has been on the bench for the first team in seven matches thus far this season as the third choice. The 19 year old joined the Primavera in the 2019/20 season from Vejle BK Youth.

Jungdal spoke to Bold via MilanLive.it about his experience at the club:

“We work a lot on technique. It’s not just about saving the ball. It also covers the details of the save and every little aspect of what can be improved. For example, I learned much of the technique from Donnarumma. Maignan could teach me more about the mental and physical aspect because he works on it more than Donnarumma did.

They are two different goalkeepers. I learned from both. I saw them on and off the pitch and learned very different things.”
