Players to Watch

Franck Kessie

The midfielder is ruled out of the midweek game so he needs to make a statement tonight. The Ivorian will need to be the leader on the pitch as the Rossoneri battle with a number of absences. He will need to carry the ball forward given the absence of Diaz and the need to support whoever replaces him in attack.

Gianluca Caprari

The attacker has easily been the top performer for Verona bagging 2 goals and 2 assists in the 5 league games he has played. The 28 year old will be coming down the left wing going up against Calabria and Kjaer and putting the ball in the box for Simeone who will want to test Tatarusanu.

Olivier Giroud

The French striker finally returns after a spell out and will be a crucial cog for this game. Giroud needs to make a bigger contribution to the side as there is some lack of continuity in attack in recent weeks, he has the quality but now needs to show that he can be the focal point for this attack.

Prediction: Milan 3 - 2 Verona
