ANSA via Antonio Vitiello are reporting that former executive Zvonimir Boban has lost an appeal of his case against AC Milan over his exit from the club in 2020. The Milan Court of Appeal reformulated the 1st degree sentence for the labour lawsuit filed by Bobam against the AC Milan. He will have to return 1.2 million euros to the club as well as any earnings from formal working activities from March 2020 to November 2022.
In sum, Milan won their appeal and Boban must now refund 1.25 million euros as well as his earnings from March 2020 to November 2022.
In an interview earlier in the week, Boban said via MilanLive.it:
“The bitterness for the forced farewell to Milan has passed, there are more important things than professional problems. But I want to clarify that I am in a dispute with Elliott Management, not with Milan. I support Milan more than before, I am happy to see that the team has taken the right path, even if far from the old glories.”
