AC Milan

AC Milan have officially announced on their website the signing of veteran goalkeeper Antonio Mirante until the end of the season hence his contract will last about 9 months. The Serie A journeyman has been recruited as an emergency replacement for starting goalkeeper Mike Maignan who has been ruled out for the rest of 2021 following his wrist surgery yesterday. Milan’s management acted quickly securing the player yesterday evening to compete with depth option Ciprian Tatarusanu for the coming months. Milan also have Alessandro Plizzari in the ranks but he is injured whilst Andreas Jungdal is being used by the Primavera. The 38 year old was a free agent following the end of his contract with AS Roma this past summer.

The keeper has played 386 games in Serie A so the likes of AS Roma, Parma, Bologna and Sampdoria. He has featured for some clubs in Serie B such as Juventus and Crotone.
