Il Milanista are reporting that Neil Lennon and Celtic FC want to keep AC Milan wing back Diego Laxalt permanently after impressing the Scottish side on his loan thus far. The Uruguay international has become a key part of the side. The report notes that a decision may need to be pushed back until the summer as Lennon's contract is expiring soon and the manager's situation needs to be cleared up before moving on to the players. The report notes that Milan will look get about 8 million euros from the sale of the defender.

Anthony Joseph of Sky Sports is reporting that Laxalt does not have an option to buy in his year long loan deal thus could be available on the cheap in the summer transfer window if Celtic hold out. Milan valued the wing back at about 10 million euros last summer but could accept a lower deal to ensure a move away.
