Pietro Balzano Prota is reporting that AC Milan are pushing forward for Strasbourg centre back Mohamed Simakan despite having some stumbling blocks over the transfer fee with the French club. The young defender is at the top of Milan's wishlist for the January transfer window and is being tracked by other clubs such as RB Leipzig.
TF1 via GFFN are reporting that Milan put forth four official bids for the 20 year old defender in the summer but all were turned down. Similarly in this window, Strasbourg seem to be holding out not to lose their centre back in the midst of a relegation battle.
Daniele Longo is reporting that Milan are confident to close the deal for the defender. He notes that the centre back could be the first signing of this window.
The centre back has played every single game for Strasbourg this season and has scored one goal and provided one assist. His side have managed to keep 4 clean sheets thus far winning each of those games.
