Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan are interested in Hellas Verona attacking midfielder Matteo Zaccagni after his impressive displays in Serie A this season including a stunning overhead goal in the previous round against Spezia. The 25 year old trequartista is being chased by Napoli, AS Roma and Inter Milan already but Milan are looking to break in regardless. He is valued at about 15 million euros.

Milan are looking to reinforce in this area as they remain in a precarious situation for both their starter and the backup in Calhanoglu and Diaz as the former is yet to renew his contract with just six months to go and the latter is on loan with no terms discussed on a possible purchase.

Corriere dello Sport via Tutto Mercato Web are reporting that there is a negotiation with Napoli for the player but notes that Milan have put a 12 million euro offer on the table whilst looking to leave the player on loan with his club until the summer.
