AC Milan travelled to face Bologna away from home as Stefano Pioli welcomed back key players to the fold. The game was quite open and free flowing as both sides hit the other with a non stop barrage of counter attacks. Milan won a penalty in the first half when Rafael Leao was pulled down in the box. Zlatan Ibrahimovic stepped up to take the penalty which was saved by Skorupski but only for Ante Rebic to dart in and slot home for the opener. In the second half, Milan won another penalty from a blatant hand ball. This time, Frankc Kessie stepped up and easily shot straight doubling our lead. Andrea Poli got one back for Bologna as the defence looked scrambled on a counter attack. Milan put the game away rather nervously but we were lucky to see Mario Mandzukic, Sandro Tonali and Ante Rebic back in action. Most importantly, our midfield talisman Ismael Bennacer returned to the action.
