Pietro Balzano Prota is reporting that AC Milan will be missing Brahim Diaz for the next fixture while starter Hakan Calhanoglu remains out with the coronavirus and will need to regain fitness after testing negative.

MilanNews.it are suggesting that Stefano Pioli could opt to play Daniel Maldini from the first minute as the trequartista or look to Mario Mandzukic or Rafael Leao to play as supporting strikers.

La Repubblica via MilanNews.it are reporting that Calhanoglu may start against Bologna when he tests negative regardless of the short period but it is unlikely he will be in the squad. They also note that Daniel Maldini is a key option and could make his first start for the club in the league.

Calcio Mercato are reporting a more radical option for Pioli which is the deployment of either Rade Krunic or Soualiho Meite in the position which seems like a bad idea after the attempt we saw against Atalanta last week.

The 19 year old Maldini has made 11 appearances for the Rossoneri thus starting twice in the Europa League. He is yet to score or provide an assist for the first team.
