MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan's management have entered the final phase of the negotiations for star contracts with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and trequartista Hakan Calhanoglu as the duo have contracts expiring in the summer.
The report notes that both Calhanoglu and Donnarumma have shown a desire to remain at Milan and this will be key to push the deals through to completion. They go on to add that nothing has been signed yet but an agreement is very close as the gaps have been closed. This will mark the end of a very long and delayed negotiation that has left Milan fans worried about the possibility of losing two key cogs in Stefano Pioli's machine.
Maldini and Massara are looking to make the announcements as soon as possible hence there is an acceleration to bridge any remaining distance between the demands of player's and Milan's offer. In the meantime, the players need to focus on the objective for the season.
