Calcio Mercato are reporting that following three signings in the January transfer window by AC Milan, the club will now focus on sales. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara has thus far completed exits for Leo Duarte to Istanbul Basaksehir and Andrea Conti to Parma both on loans. The next name is Mateo Musacchio who has not be favoured by Stefano Pioli since his arrival but has somehow made two appearances in recent weeks.
The report notes that Parma are interested in the Argentina international and could look to sign him in this window. The report claims that Milan would allow him to leave on a free transfer by a mutual termination to save on his wages as he currently earns 2 million euros a year and has only played 95 minutes this season and has only started 3 games since January 2020.
Corriere dello Sport via Tutto Mercato Web are reporting that Milan have an agreement in principle with Parma for the centre back but he is yet to make a decision on his future. The 30 year old defender is reportedly intrigued by the move but prefers to re-join his former club Villarreal in the summer.
