AC Milan on their website have officially announced the signing of Oluwafikayomi Oluwadamilola Tomori from Chelsea on a loan with an option to buy. The deal is for six months elapsing in the summer. The Canadian born centre back has been capped by the England national team and has been playing for Chelsea for about two seasons. He has also played for Derby County, Hull City and Brighton on loan deals. He broke out at Derby County under manager Frank Lampard and thereafter followed him back to Chelsea where he broke into the squad. He has fallen behind this season due to the signing of Thiago Silva and the exceptional performances of Kurt Zouma.
The defender made 27 appearances for Chelsea where he scored 2 goals, provided 1 assist and kept 8 clean sheets.
The defender has chosen to wear the number 23 on his shirt.
