Talks Between AC Milan and Barcelona For Young Left Back Collapses As Both Sides Stall

Milan are yet to secure a back up for Theo Hernandez and the search will go on as the Firpo deal collapses.

Gianluca di Marzio via MilanNews.it is reporting that AC Milan are taking a step back from the talks with Barcelona over a transfer for left back Junior Firpo as the defender does not show a great desire to leave the Spanish club or the city as he recently became a father.

Pietro Balzano Prota is reporting that the deal is at a standstill as both sides are not showing the will to go much further. His is reporting that there is a possibility for a resumption but there will be no movement for the moment.

Calcio Mercato are reporting that Milan offered 1 million euros for the loan with a buy out option set at 15 million euros but Barcelona want an outright sale at about 20 million euros.

Louis Girardi is reporting that Brahim Diaz has spoken to the left back to convince him of the move as Diaz's father Sufi Abdelkader is one of the intermediaries of the player.
