AC Milan on their website have officially announced the transfer of right back Andrea Conti to Parma on a loan with an obligation to buy if particular conditions are met. The defender leaves Milan after three and a half seasons since joining in the summer of 2017 when Mirabelli and Fassone where in charge of the club's market. The former Atalanta man joined for about 18 million euros but struggled in Milan due to multiple injuries and a formation that did not suit his style of play. The right back made just 51 appearances over the the years competing for playing time with Davide Calabria and falling behind the youth product this season.
Parma on their website have also announced the signing of Conti confirming that the loan signing is for just six months until the summer transfer window as the goal is for Conti to help the club avoid relegation. The club are also reporting that they have agreed a deal with the defender until 2025 if the conditions are met for a permanent transfer.
