Calcio e Finanza are reporting that AC Milan have fallen out of the top ten clubs for revenue from shirt sponsorships in Europe this past year. Milan secured a renewal deal with Emirates Airlines this year for a lower sum but one that allows Milan to add sponsors to the shirt such as on the sleeve. The study from Calcio e Finanza adds the total revenue raised from the technical sponsor and main shirt sponsor for 2019 and 2020.
Milan are bringing in 24.9 million euros with 14 million coming from Emirates and 10.9 million coming from Puma putting them outside the top ten list. The biggest revenues in Italy are with Juventus at 96 million euros and Inter Milan at 36.8 million euros. The top of the list in Europe is Real Madrid with 190 million euros per year.
Milan have a deal with Puma as their technical sponsor until 2023 while the renewal with Emirates runs until 2023 as well.
