Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the deal for Mario Mandzukic to AC Milan on a free transfer is done. The former Juventus and Bayern Munich striker will join until the end of the season and will undertake his medicals tomorrow. The striker will return to Serie A after a year in Qatar where he scored just one goal.
Vito Angele is also saying the deal is done as Milan are convinced of the move. He notes that Mandzukic will arrive in Milan tomorrow.
Nicolo Schira is adding that Mandzukic will have his medicals tomorrow ahead of closing a deal with Milan. He will sign a six month deal worth 1.5 million euros plus bonuses as well as an option to extend in the summer dependent on particular criteria being met.
Daniele Longo is reporting that the agreement is for 1.8 million euros for the six months and notes that there will be an automatic extension until 2022 if the Rossoneri qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
