Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the talks between AC Milan and Chelsea for defender Fikayo Tomori have progressed quickly and should be closed in the coming days. The player has reportedly prioritised joining the Rossoneri. The clubs are working on the terms of the transfer at the moment.
Gianluca di Marzio is reporting that Tomori is set to join the Rossoneri and could be completed by Monday. He is stating that it will be a loan with an option to buy for about 25-30 million euros.
Ekrem Konur is reporting that the two clubs are currently negotiating the terms of an agreement that will suit all parties. There is hope for a deal to be concluded soon. He importantly notes that Tomori is keen to join the Rossoneri.
Tomori has come through the Chelsea academy and was impressive last season but has been edged out by the arrival of veteran Thiago Silva who is starting alongside Kurt Zouma. He is also struggling for playing time as Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen are above him in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge hence the youngster could use some time away.
