Sempre Milan are reporting that AC Milan's management held positive talks over the contract renewal for trequartista Hakan Calhanoglu. The distance is being reduced and a new meeting will be scheduled to finally close the deal. The Turkey international seems to want to renew with the club which is vital to push this renewal through. The renewal has taken a while but closing this deal would be a huge win for Paolo Maldini and co.

Sport Mediaset via MilanNews.it are reporting that Calhanoglu's agent Gordon Stipic will be at Casa Milan this week to finalise a deal. The player earns 2.5 million euros currently while Milan are offering 4 million while the player requests 6 million euros. The deal will likely be closed at 5 million as both sides will need to move forward.
