AC Milan In Talks With Lyon To Sell Out Of Favour Brazilian Midfielder

Carlo Pellegati is reporting that AC Milan outcast Lucas Paqueta remains on the market and could be set for a move to France as Lyon are interested in the midfielder. The Sporting Director of Lyon of former Brazil international Juninho who is a fan of the player and who considers him a potential replacement for Jeff Reine-Adelaide who is reportedly about to be sold. The report notes that the cost of Paqueta could be between 20-25 million euros.

Sky Italia via MilanNews.it are reporting the same noting that Lyon are interested in the midfielder. The 25 million that Milan are looking for would register a loss but it seems better than nothing at this point.

Vito Angele notes that Sporting Clube de Portugal, Benfica and Lyon have shown interest in him but none have put forward an official offer.

Antonio Vitiello reports that talks are ongoing for the move.

The midfielder joined in January 2019 but has endured difficult and frustrating spells as well as three managers hence has not been able to cement his place at Milan.
