Sempre Milan are reporting that Sandro Tonali is expected to arrive in Milan today ahead of his move from Brescia to AC Milan on loan. The Italy international is expected to undertake his medicals as per the report today and join the side this week. The youngster is one of the top prospects in Serie A and an impressive debut season last year and will be looking to compete with Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie for minutes. The report reiterates that the move is a loan with an option to buy.
Milan are ten days away from their first fixture of the new season and will want to integrate as many of the new players into the squad and the system as possible by then. New signing Brahim Diaz signed his contract and joined the group training before the weekend and even came off the bench in the friendly match against Monza for about 20 minutes. Tonali could have a similar flow and could feature against Vicenza on Wednesday if all goes to plan.
