AC Milan played against AC Monza at the San Siro last evening and the youngsters of Milan put on an incredible display with the former Primavera players stealing the show. Milan won the game 4-1 scoring twice in the first half and twice in the final five minutes. Davide Calabria opened up the scoring with a rocket snapshot from the edge of the box. Monza quickly equalised when Antonio Donnarumma made an error in judgement allowing Finotto to roll the ball into the net. Toward the end of the first half, Daniel Maldini and Lucas Paqueta linked up really well with a one-two followed by a stunning finessed shot from Maldini curving around the keeper and hitting the back post on the way in. It was a stunning announcement by the third generation player. Pierre Kalulu also managed to score of a blazing shot that stayed low from the edge of the box after a corner. Lastly, Lorenzo Colombo scored an unbelievable shot in the top right corner with incredible left footed curling shot from quite far out. It was an really solid display from the youngsters who will give Stefano Pioli something to think about.
