Manuele Baiocchini via MilanNews.it is reporting that AC Milan are still searching for a right back and that the pursuit of Ivory Coast international Serge Aurier from Tottenham Hotspur is not dead. He reports that there is discontent around Andrea Conti and Davide Calabria after their average performances last season. He goes on to note that the key to unlock the deal with Tottenham could be patience. Milan and Tottenham were reportedly 5 or so million away in their valuation of the player as we reported here a few weeks ago. Milan want to spend about 15-18 million on Aurier whilst Tottenhma want about 23 million for him.
He reports that the club could be open to allowing the right back to leave on loan if a permanent deal is difficult to agree on given the arrival of Matt Doherty from Wolverhampton recently. The loan deal as evidenced by the Tonali and Diaz moves would be much appreciated in Milan.
