Gianluca di Marzio via MilanNews.it is reporting that AC Milan are not currently in talks for Fiorentina attacker Federico Chiesa despite prevailing reports. The 22 year old was strongly linked with a move to Milan in the past week but the report notes that there was an enquiry a few months ago but Rocco Commisso’s 90 million euro asking price was deemed excessive. Di Marzio reports that Chiesa wants to leave but would prefer to remain with a club in Italy for the moment.
Milan were in the market for a right winger to reinforce the position but the arrival of Brahim Diaz who is versatile enough to play across the attacking midfield positions likely rules out this move.
