Vito Angele is reporting that AC Milan have opened negotiations for Bologna centre back Takehiro Tomiyasu who is a versatile defender who can switch between right back and centre back. The report notes that Bologna are asking for 20 million euros for the defender.
Gianluca di Marzio via MilanLive.it is reporting that Wesley Fofana was at the top of Milan's wish list but as the player has joined Leicester City the focus switches to Tomiyasu. He adds that a bid of 20-25 million euros is required to convince the club.
Antonio Vitiello confirms that Tomiyasu is the next player to be discussed after the sale of Paqueta has been completed. Daniele Longo is reporting that Tomiyasu is a concrete option. The Japan international has significant experience in Serie A and is versatile enough to be able to cover mutliple places across the defence.
Manuele Baiocchini is reporting that Tomiyasu is the new priority after Fofana was lost and notes that Bologna will ask for 25 million euros for the defender.
