Calciomercato.it are reporting that AC Milan continue to search for a centre back as they currently miss three defenders to injury or illness. Mateo Musacchio, Alessio Romagnoli and Leo Duarte are all out leaving Simon Kjaer and Matteo Gabbia the only fit defenders to start every game with two games a week. Milan have been following the likes of Nikola Milenkovic and German Pezzella from Fiorentina, Matija Nastasic from Schalke 04 and Wesley Fofana from St Etienne. A new name has emerged in Antonio Rudiger from Chelsea as the Germany international does not fit into Frank Lampard's plans thus could be allowed to leave. Milan are willing to take the centre back on loan but Chelsea want to sell him for about 35-40 million euros.
Gianluca di Marzio via MilanNews.it is reporting that the defender could be an option for Milan at the end of the transfer window as the player could be allowed to leave on loan by the club as he is not in the plans for the season.
