Sempre Milan are reporting that sources close to AC Milan are stating that the club will attempt to sign FK Bodo/Glimt left winger Jens Petter Hauge. The 20 year old winger scored a wicked goal against Milan in the Europa League tie on Thursday night and provided an assist impressing both Stefano Pioli and Paolo Maldini with his display.
Fabrizio Romano is also reporting that Milan have opened talks to sign Hauge and will make thier first official bid soon. The Norway international has also been hyped up on Twitter by Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland. He notes that the signing can be completed in a few days.
Gianluca di Marzio is reporting that there is competition for the winger but that Milan hope to close the transfer within 48 hours.
Norwegian journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft is reporting that Milan have been following Hauge since June and has three other options of the table. He adds that the player seems to prefer Milan.
The player speaking to TV2 stated, “It is not something I focus on or have been particularly updated on, it is of course a club I would like to play for. It is one of the biggest clubs in the world, something I got a taste of yesterday considering both the city and the stadium.”
