Corriere della Sera broke the news that AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has tested positive for the coronavirus following the positive test for Leo Duarte yesterday. The former Sweden international will now miss UEFA Europa League clash this evening against FK Bodo/Glimt at the San Siro.

AC Milan have now released a statement confirming the positive test and not that he is now in quarantine at home. The rest of the squad and staff have tested negative in the second round of swab tests.

We wish him a speedy recovery and can't wait to see him return.

In the meantime, Milan's attack will go into crisis mode as youngster Lorenzo Colombo will likely be thrown into the deep end as Ante Rebic is suspended and Rafael Leao has only just returned to training this past week. The youngster scored three times in the pre-season and will be likely needed to deliver in a high stakes knockout game tonight.
