AS are reporting that AC Milan are one of the teams who could land veteran Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez as his agent is in Italy closing the deal of Alvaro Morata to Juventus yesterday. Napoli and AS Roma are the other teams reportedly interested in the 30 year old centre back who was played for Madrid's first team for over 7 years now. Nacho has accumulated 200 appearances for the club playing as both a starter and off the bench for long spells. He has struggled a bit with hamstring injuries but is a very experienced defender who could add an element of depth to the squad.
Claudio Raimondi via MilanNews.it is reporting that Nastasic is not a main target after Milenkovic was ruled out as Nacho could be the right option on loan. Paolo Maldini has a good relationship with Real Madrid and that could be a key factor in this deal as Milan have already acquired Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz from the side.
Calciomercato.it are also confirming Milan's interest and are noting that he is a real target for the position.
