Gianluca di Marzio via MilanNews.it is reporting that move for AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic to Freiburg has seemingly collapsed after the German side signed defensive midfielder Baptiste Santamaria from SGO Angiers for a club record of 10 million euros. Milan kept Krunic for depth in the Europa League qualifying rounds and he was even brought off the bench last night thus were delaying the deal. Di Marzio is noting that Milan may decide to keep Krunic in the end. This may complicate the move for Tiemoue Bakayoko as a midfielder needs to leave for him to arrive.
Sport BILD via Bulinews.co are reporting that Krunic is still expected to join Freiburg as he is expected to partner with midfielder Nicolas Hofler as the first choice for the side. The report cites a 7 million euro figure for the Bosnia and Herzegovina international.
Simone Cristao is reporting that the signing of Santamaria will slow the move for Krunic as Freiburg’s squad is full for the moment. He notes that the club may sell Haberer and thereafter return for Krunic.
