Daniele Longo is reporting that AC Milan could turn their attention from one Fiorentina centre back to another as the club do not seem willing to sell youngster Nikola Milenkovic. Milan have been following Milenkovic all summer but there have been various hurdles ranging from his price tag to the unwillingness of Rocco Commisso to sell. The alternative now seems to be to close a deal for his experienced counterpart German Pezzella. Fiorentina value the 29 year old defender at 15 million euros and he could be a solid addition for the meantime as he is currently in his prime. He is reporting that Milan will open contacts with his agent soon. The report notes that Stefano Pioli has asked for the player as he knows him well.
Dario Massara via MilanNews.it stated the following:
“Pezzella to Milan is possible in the sense that the player will leave and is looking for accommodation, Milan could be an ideal destination, even if it is not a hot deal at the moment.”
