Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are looking to make three more signings in the final weeks of the transfer window after an intense two week period where the club announced deals for Brahim Diaz, Sandro Tonali, Ciprian Tatarusanu and Ante Rebic. The report notes that the new signings will be made if Milan get through the qualification stages into the group stage of the Europa League.

The three signings consist of the following:

A central midfielder - most likely Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea but the alternatives are Boubakary Soumare from Lille or Florentino Luis from Benfica or other unknown names.

A back up striker - to play as an alternate to Zlatan Ibrahimovic as Rafael Leao is seen more as the back up for Ante Rebic in the squad. This will be closer to a classic no. 9.

A right back - to take over as the starter from Conti/Calabria after an underwhelming season. Serge Aurier from Tottenham Hotspur was the top choice but a deal seems tough.

As we reported here, Stefano Pioli wanted four signings to close the mercato however in that report a centre back was prioritised over a back up striker.

MilanNews.it are reporting that in addition to the three remaining signings desired, the club will look to sell five players in the meantime. Diego Laxalt, Leo Duarte, Davide Calabria, Rade Krunic and Lucas Paqueta are all expected to leave either on loan or permanently.
