Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that French outfit Olympique Lyonnais remain interested in AC Milan midfielder Lucas Paqueta despite the public denials and note that the club submitted an offer which included defender Jason Denayer to lower the monetary value for Paqueta. Milan turned down this deal as they are not interested in the player.
MilanLive.it are reporting that there could be an alternative idea which is that to acquire centre back Joachim Andersen as part of the deal. The former Sampdoria centre back is greatly appreciated in Milan and was heavily linked to the club last summer when Marco Giampaolo was set to join the club. The centre back at just 24 years is a solid defender who has played an impressive season in Serie A with Sampdoria prior to his move to Lyon where he has also done very well. The Lyon would likely not want to part ways with him though.
