Antonio Vitiello is reporting that AC Milan is ever closer to the permanent purchase of Ante Rebic from Eintracht Frankfurt especially after the move for Andre Silva going the other way was announced yesterday evening. The Croatia international is expected to be announced imminently but the report notes that the two deals for Silva and Rebic are entirely separated.
Pietro Balzano Prota is reporting that the deal is done between Milan and Frankfurt for Rebic.
Daniele Longo is reporting that both clubs have total confirmations on the deal to end the two year loan early and to buy out the attacker early.
Rebic played largely in the second half of the season but when he did he finished off strong as the top scorer for the club with 12 goals in all competitions as well as four assists. More importantly, he scored goals against Inter Milan, Juventus, Lazio and AS Roma demonstrating his ability to step up in big games. Rebic will be another important deal keeping the top players from last season after Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Simon Kjaer.
