Antonio Vitiello is reporting that Ciprian Tatarusanu has undertaken his medicals for AC Milan this morning at La Madonnina Clinic ahead of his move from Olympique Lyonnais this summer on a permanent deal. The Romania international has just returned from playing in the UEFA Nations League where he continues to hold down the starting spot.

As we reported here, the are conflicting reports on the make up of the deal as it is either expected to a bosman signing or one where Milan pay 500,000 for the veteran goalkeeper. However all the reports point to the shot stopper being offered a three year contract with the club which is quite lengthy considering the player is 34 years old. The keeper has significant Serie A experience with over 100 appearances for Fiorentina in all competitions and would be able to cover for Gianluigi Donnarumma in the Coppa Italia and the Europa League.
