AC Milan Draw Shamrock Rovers For UEFA Europa League Second Qualifying Round

The UEFA Europa League have announced their draw for the second qualifying round where AC Milan will be entering the competition. Milan had three possible opponents and drew Shamrock Rovers from the Republic of Ireland for the tie. The game will be played on Thursday 17th of September and Milan will be playing away from home. This is a one legged tie.

As noted on Milan's website, Shamrock Rovers are currently sitting at the top of the League of Ireland Premier Division having played nine games with seven wins and two draws. The won the FAI Cup and the National Cup in 2019.

As noted on the UEL site,

“This season all qualifying ties will be single-leg matches behind closed doors, with extra time and a penalty shoot-out if required. Winners advance to the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round.”
