Arsenal Midfielder Wants Serie A Return; AC Milan, Napoli and Fiorentina Watching

Calcio Mercato are reporting that Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira wants to return to Serie A and has informed his club of this desire. AC Milan were linked to the midfielder last summer when Marco Giampaolo was set to takeover the club due to their past relationship. Fiorentina and Napoli are also looking closely at the player.

The Telegraph are reporting that the midfielder opened strong at the club but has struggled with the change of tactics and injuries hence has fallen down the pecking order. They are reporting that Milan are the front runners this summer if Arsenal choose to sell.

Chris Wheatley is adding that the likeliest option is a loan deal and the midfielder is open to the move. the 24 year old midfielder has made 39 appearances this season but has featured 89 times for the club over his two seasons. He has scored 4 goals and provided 6 assists too. He formerly played for Sampdoria in Serie A he racked up 74 appearances under former Milan manager Marco Giampaolo.
