AC Milan and Fiorentina Open Talks Over Swap Deal

Sport Mediaset via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan and Fiorentina have opened talks over a swap deal for midfielder Lucas Paqueta and defender Nikola Milenkovic. The deal has been rumoured for a few months now and the two clubs seem to be looking to find an agreement now. The players and the clubs seem to be happy with the idea.

Paqueta is out of favour at Milan whilst Milenkovic does not want to renew with Fiorentina. Stefano Pioli is also pushing for Milenkovic as he knows the player thus could integrate him well into his system. Paqueta meanwhile is appreciated by the management of La Viola and could use a move away to get back on track.
