Antonio Vitiello are reporting that AC Milan youngster Tommaso Pobega could join the first team rotation this summer onward after a loan spell at Pordenone this past season. The 21 year old got 29 appearances in all competitions featuring in the Serie B as his side finished 4th. The central midfielder could be part of the depth for Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer.

The report notes that Stefano Pioli will assess the youngster when the team returns to begin it's pre-season preparations in a few weeks. The midfielder could save the Rossoneri from spending money to acquire a depth player in that position and could be rotated early on given the daunting schedule to kick off the 2020/21 season. Most importantly, Milan are looking to extend his contract by 3 years until 2025 and negotiations are underway.
