Sky Sports are reporting that AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen are going head to head for Norwich City FC centre back Ben Godfrey. The defender is valued at about 32-35 million euros. The England U21 international held up well this season despite his side getting relegated from the Premier League. He picked up 33 appearances in all competitions.

The report notes that Milan's management met with the representatives of the player before the last game of the season. The 22 year old is a prized asset for Norwich and they do not want to lose him as a number of additional clubs have enquired about him such as Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. He has 3 years left on his contract with the Championship side.
