Fabrizio Romano on Calcio Mercato is reporting that Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali is open to the move to AC Milan after Inter Milan stalled their approach. The report notes that the first team between Milan and Inter to convince the player and the club will be able to pull off the deal. Milan are looking to make an improved offer to convince the club as the player is set. Tonali wants to get back into Serie A after his side were relegated last season.

Vito Angele is reporting that Milan's owners Elliot are pushing for the move as they have given Maldini permission to raise their offer to Cellino. He also adds that Tonai's preference is Milan.

Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that the deal is extremely close also noting an approval from the player and almost an agreement with the club.
