AC Milan’s Veteran Striker Close To One Year Extension With An Option For A Second

The 38 year old could end up playing for Milan until he is 40 if he can keep scoring.

Vito Angele is reporting that AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is closing in on a renewal with the club as just a few details are remaining. The report notes that he will likely receive a One year contract extension with the option for a second year. The deal will include a number of bonuses dependent of achieving certain objectives.

Previously, Vito Angele reported that Ibrahimovic has made up his mind and will stay with the Rossoneri next season.

The striker joined Milan on a 6 month deal in January which was later extended by two months to complete the season. He played 20 games scoring 11 goals and providing 5 assists in all competitions. Milan lost just 2 games since his arrival and secured a 6th place finish in the league.
