Fabrizio Romano is reporting that AC Milan have opened talks with Real Madrid to sign young playmaker Brahim Diaz on a season long loan with an option to buy. The 21 year old has been marginalised in his squad but remains a top prospect with a 750 million euro release clause.
Sky Sport Italia are reporting that the Rossoneri are looking to give the young Spain international an opportunity to play and develop as his opportunities have been scarce under Zinedine Zidane despite the manager having faith in the talented midfielder. The player is extremely versatile across a umber of attacking roles as he can play with both feet and would be an ideal addition to Stefano Pioli's attacking outfit.
Gianluca di Marzio is reporting that the youngster could feature as a trequartista or a winger and confirms that Milan are going for a loan with the option to buy. He notes that Madrid will not want to sell the player outright but that there are some positive signs. He also adds that there is no agreement between Milan and the player at the moment.
This attempt could build upon Milan's existing relationship with Madrid from last summer and the fans can look forward to potentially nabbing another top player who simply could not find the space to excel in a top club.
