AC Milan via their website have announced the extension of the contract of youngster Tommaso Pobega until June 2025. The 21 year old spent the previous season on loan at Pordenone in Serie B where he helped his side to a fourth place finish in the league. Pobega plays as a central midfielder with a solid attacking output as he scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists from 34 appearances in all competitions.
Pobega is now expected to join the midfield rotation of the first team and becomes a new Primavera product to join the Milan first team. He has spent two seasons out on loan where he has impressed continuously thus winning himself the right to return to win a place.
There are a number of teams following the midfielder and it is a possibility that he leaves on loan to another club in Serie A this time as he is yet to play in the top tier. He has played with Pordenone in Serie B, Ternana in Serie C and with the Milan Primavera.
