Gianluca di Marzio is reporting that AC Milan are in talks with Palmeiras for left back Maias Vina to add depth to the position. The Uruguay international has only been with the Brazilian club since January but has struggled to make an impact there and could be open to a move abroad as Milan followed him in January.
Palmeiras reportedly want 10 million euros for the defender but Milan are working to reduce this price. The 22 year old defender has only played 8 games in 2020 for Palmeiras.
Di Marzio reported in January that Milan missed out on signing the youngster from Nacional as they offered a one year loan worth 1.5 million euros with an option to buy for 6.5 million whereas Palmeiras offered a permanent transfer for 5.5 million euros.
Milan need to add depth to the left back position as Ricardo Rodriguez has departed to Torino and Diego Laxalt is also expected to leave this summer leaving just Theo Hernandez as the only natural left back in the squad.
