AC Milan Women started their 2020/21 season as the look to crack a Champions League spot on their third attempt. The side went through a significant turnover and the starting eleven featured a number of new signings including Dowie, Agard and Grimshaw. Milan Women won 1-0 with the winner coming from winger Miriam Longo in the first half. The captain Valentina Giacinti had a number of chances to get on the score sheet but looked a little rusty from the season break. Either way, Maurizio Ganz's side picked up a vital three points to start their campaign and get some confidence going.
