Rossoneri Round Up for Aug 23: AC Milan Women Face Florentia At Home In Season Opener

AC Milan Women kick off their season today at home against Florentia as they look to finally break into the Champions League places after two consecutive third place finishes. Milan will be gearing up after an impressive display in their pre-season friendly against Ajax where they won 5-0. The Rossonere will also don their very own shirt sponsor for the first time ever as Banco BPM became their official sponsor over the summer. Captain and top scorer Valentina Giacinti will be action in action leading the side as number of new signings such as Agard, Rask, Grimshaw and Dowie look to make their mark early on.
