Fabrizio Romano on Calcio Mercato is reporting that AC Milan and Chelsea have unlocked the negotiations for midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko to rejoin this summer. The deal looks likely to be a loan with an option to buy, the loan would cost about 2 million euros whilst the option to buy will be set at 30 million euros. The player has already discussed the contract and this should not be an issue. The move could be closed in a matter of days.
Calcio Mercato are also reporting that Bakayoko accepted the new wage cap at the club and will thus take a huge wage cut to rejoin the club with a reported agreement at 2.8 million euros per season.
Gianluca di Marzio is reporting that the change of the tide came yesterday as Chelsea agreed to the formula put forth and notes that the operation will cost 30-32 million euros in total if the player is redeemed at the end of his loan.
Vito Angele is reporting that Bakayoko will be Milan's first signing of the summer transfer window and the deal with be a loan with an option to buy.
