Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan are interested in Real Madrid owned Oscar Rodriguez who spent the past season on loan at Leganes where he impressed and got a number of clubs on his tail. The attack minded midfielder could slot in well as a back up trequartista to Hakan Calhanoglu and could even compete for a starting spot. The player seems to be a more affordable alternative to Miranchuk and is versatile enough to occupt both the CAM and RAM positions. Madrid are expected to demand 20 million euros for him but that a deal could be closed at about 15 million euros with some clauses such as a potential buy back clause.
Planeta Milan meanwhile are reporting that Milan could be interested in a cut rate deal for another Madrid youngster in Brahim Diaz as he has only played 10 games in all competitions but has only started once. The playmaker has struggled to break into the first team and the report notes that Milan are already in contact as they look set to pounce on him. He has a ridiculous 750 million euro release clause but would realistically be available for about 15 to 20 million euros.
Milan could look to build off the good relationship with Madrid from the Hernandez deal last year and can hope for a similar sort of return on investment through stunning on-pitch performances.
